Government

Legislative drafting, policy and regulatory advice, procurement, and constitutional and public law litigation for governments and public bodies.

Overview

Government ministries, departments, agencies and legislatures need advice that is legally sound and workable in practice. We advise and represent federal and state public bodies and those who deal with them.

Our Principal Partner holds a master’s degree in legislative drafting, has drafted bills and motions for the National Assembly, contributed to the “Not Too Young to Run” Act and served as a consultant to the 9th Senate Committee on the Review of the 1999 Constitution. We advise on legislation, regulations and policy, public procurement, and the governance of public bodies.

We also represent governments and public bodies in constitutional and public law litigation, including the case on the implementation of the Naira redesign policy at the Supreme Court in 2023.
