Biography
Sunusi Musa, SAN is the Principal Partner and founder of Aliyu and Musa Legal Practitioners and Consultants. A Senior Advocate of Nigeria, his practice covers litigation, commercial and business law, constitutional law and human rights.
He has acted in constitutional and electoral matters up to the Supreme Court of Nigeria and in human rights proceedings before the ECOWAS Community Court of Justice. As an accredited insolvency practitioner he has served as receiver-manager of companies, including entities under the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON).
He has drafted bills and motions for the National Assembly, contributed to the “Not Too Young to Run” Act and served as a consultant to the 9th Senate Committee on the Review of the 1999 Constitution. He is a prosecutor at the Medical and Dental Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal and chairs the Governing Board of the Aminu Kano College of Islamic and Legal Studies.
