Pensions

Advice for pension fund administrators, custodians, employers and contributors under the Pension Reform Act 2014.

Overview

Nigeria’s contributory pension scheme holds a large pool of long-term savings and is closely regulated by the National Pension Commission. We advise pension operators, employers and contributors.

We advise on licensing and corporate matters for pension fund administrators and custodians, investment regulations, transfers and mergers, governance and compliance with PenCom rules, and on employers’ obligations under the Pension Reform Act 2014.

We also advise on pension-related employment matters and represent clients in recovery of unremitted contributions and pension disputes.
