White Collar

Defence, investigations and advice in economic and financial crime matters, including cases brought by the EFCC and ICPC.

Overview

Allegations of fraud, corruption or money laundering carry serious personal and business consequences. We advise individuals and organisations from the first contact with investigators through to trial and appeal.

We represent clients in investigations and prosecutions by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission and other agencies, and in asset tracing, forfeiture and recovery proceedings under the Proceeds of Crime (Recovery and Management) Act 2022. We also conduct internal investigations and advise on anti-corruption compliance.

Our Principal Partner was part of the prosecution team in the 2015 forgery charges against Senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki, serves as a prosecutor at the Medical and Dental Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal and is a member of the Administration of Criminal Justice Monitoring Committee.
