Muzzammil Yahaya is a well skilled legal professional with over a decade experience in Legal practice such as Legal research, Legal advisory and Policy development. His specialisation includes Taxation, Regulatory compliance, General Litigation and Public Policy Development.

He is passionate about Constitutional, Electoral Law, Security Law, Medical Law, Commercial and Corporate Practice. He has appeared in many high-profile cases in superior courts of records and specialised Tribunal such as Tax Appeal Tribunal, Election Petition Tribunal and Medical and Dental Disciplinary Tribunal.

He has coordinated Legal Research, prepared opinion and gave Legal advisory to companies on several commercial Transaction where he renders legal advice on Tax Implication of proposed investment, Investment framework and it implications and also reviewed turnkey contract on behalf of clients.  

He is a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where in obtained LLB in Law and attended Nigerian Law School, Lagos. He holds a Master’s Degree in Strategy and Security Administration from Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna

Some of Muzzammil’s work include:

• Member of the team that prepared an opinion and advised a major Liquefied Natural Gas company on the tax implication of its planned investment and Engineering Procurement contracts. 

• Member of the team that advised a major oil and gas company on the acquisition of an aircraft, the tax implications and proffering options 

• Member of the litigation team that handles various matters at the court and specialized tribunals. 

• Reviewed and edited Judgments and Rulings handed down by the various courts of records and the Tax Appeal Tribunals. 

• Member of the team that represent members of the Senate and the House of Representatives of the 7^th Assembly that defected from the People Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressive congress (APC) wherein we successfully halt the declaration of their seat vacant by the Senate President.

• Members of the team that represent the Governorship Candidate of the All Progressive Congress of Taraba State and secured her return as the duly elected Governor of Taraba State. 

• Represent several Senators, Members of House of Representatives and State Assembly at the Election Petition Tribunal and appeals in 2015 Elections.

• Represents the All Progressive Congress (APC) and her candidates in various Pre Election and Post-Election cases at various courts and Election Petition Tribunals in the 2019 Election.

• Coordinate the implementation of Social Investment Programme of the Federal Government in Gombe State.

• Coordinate the Implementation of RA3 World Bank Programme under the NG-Cares for Gombe state where I implement support for Small and Medium Enterprises that were affected by the Covid 19 Pandemic.
