Mase D. Acho-Asani is a Head of Practice in Aliyu and Musa Legal Practitioners and Consultants.  She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Benue State University.  She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2007.  She joined the firm in 2022.  Mase’s practice areas cover dispute resolution (mediation, arbitration and litigation), corporate governance, Regulatory compliance intellectual property, employment and advisory services.

Mase advises and represents clients (in various courts and tribunals including the Supreme Court of Nigeria) on matters bordering on various issues including corporate governance regulatory compliance, intellectual property, employment and real estate.

Mase is adept at legal research and drafting. She has prepared legal opinions and provides legal advisory services to organizations and government agencies.

Some of Mase’s work include:

• successfully prosecuted and defended a number of civil and criminal cases
• successfully prosecuted human rights cases including securing the release of persons from unlawful detention
• successfully participated in pre-election and election petition matters;
• part of the team that successfully represented Kano State on the Naira Design Policy suit at the Supreme Court;
• Successfully participated in the defence of high profile terrorism cases 
• successfully provided legal advisory services to various individual, corporate clients and government agencies.
